ISACA is an independent, non-profit, global association that provides practical guidance, benchmarks and other effective tools for all enterprises that use information systems. ISACA was previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, ISACA now goes by its acronym only.ISACA defines the roles of information systems governance, security, audit and assurance professionals worldwide. The COBIT framework and the CISA, CISM, CGEIT, and CRISC certifications are ISACA brands respected and used by these professionals for the benefit of their enterprises. ISACA Singapore chapter is one of the 215 local chapters of ISACA that offer an opportunity to share a broad range of professional expertise from diverse business communities. ISACA Singapore chapter has more than 2000 registered members, the chapter is one of the very large local ISACA chapters in ASIA. The chapter sponsors local educational seminars and workshops, conduct regular chapter meetings, and help to further promote and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control, and security/cybersecurity professional. ISACA Singapore also engages with local polytechnic as well as universities to spread awareness and equip fresh talent with the basic knowledge of information systems governance, security, audit, and assurance
