Tech Talk: Practical Implications to IT Infrastructures in Post Quantum Cryptographic World

20 Oct 2022
Level 1 | Exhibition Hall, Sands Expo and Convention Centre
The advances in Quantum computing will be a serious threat to current essential cryptographical algorithms in the near future. The threat is acute since encrypted communication can be recorded already now and decrypted later to reveal secrets when sufficient resources are available. While there are viable quantum-safe solutions to mitigate the threat, cybersecurity infrastructure is known to take years to deploy. This presents a significant challenge to infrastructure teams all over the planet. This presentation will cover the new quantum threat, potential mitigation options and a proposed implementation timeline for a typical enterprise handling large amounts of critical data.
