Benjamin Tan is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Red Alpha Cybersecurity, a cyber talent development company. Red Alpha aims to build up global cybersecurity capacity, and does so by running training programmes that train up aspiring cybersecurity professionals, even those with no background in cybersecurity and IT, to become cybersecurity professionals in the industry. Prior to Red Alpha, he had more than 15 years of cybersecurity operational experience in the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), and last headed the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and the Incident Response Unit in MINDEF/SAF.
