Chia Boon Quee is the Chief Cryptography Officer in ST Engineering and has been in the security industry since 1997, and has 20 years of experience in information security. He has since led the cybersecurity technical team focusing on network security products. He has subsequently moved on as lead security architect and technical lead for many classified projects and commercial products covering areas such as encryptors, data leak protection solutions, cyber-security systems, with a core focus on cryptography-related projects. Boon Quee has also spearheaded, designed, and lead a technical team in delivering the first OS-less, highly failsafe, and extensible IP encryptor, providing high premium assurance against cyber adversaries. This design concept has since served as the core security architecture for subsequent encryptor development.
