Christopher Kruegel is VP Security Services in the Networking and Security Business Unit (NSBU) at VMware. He is also (currently on leave from his position as) a Professor of Computer Science at UC Santa Barbara. Finally, Christopher was a co-founder of Lastline, where he served in various roles (CEO, Chief Product Officer, Chief Scientist) until the acquisition by VMware. Christopher has published more than 150 papers in top security conferences and spoken at venues such as BlackHat and RSAC
