Clayton has been involved in the professional education services industry for more than a decade in the U.S. and Asia. His experience spans business unit management, and mergers and acquisitions, including corporate restructuring. Based in Hong Kong, Clayton is responsible for the overall operations of (ISC)² in the region and supporting the organization's vision. Clayton has led the establishment of (ISC)² offices in China and Japan. He also works with different government agencies and corporations advising on workforce development within the information security profession. Clayton is a regular speaker at information security events in India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines and Hong Kong. Clayton has a B.Com from Calcutta University and a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management (Calcutta). In April 2009, Clayton received the Membership Growth and Support Award during the (ISC)² 20th Anniversary Founders Celebration in recognition of his contributions to the development and growth of (ISC)² credentials and the profession in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2015 the Hon. Jejomar C. Binay, MNSA presented him with the Meritorious Service Award from the Department of National Defense, National Defense College of the Philippines for his efforts and engagement with the NDCP which contributed significantly to the attainment of their goal toward national security and development.
