Gary is the Head of Security Engineering at Check Point Asia Pacific and Japan. In this role Gary is responsible for the cyber security engineering for Check Point customers and partners. Driving thought leadership on all aspects of cyber security through publications, consultancy and public speaking. Gary is passionate about all aspects of cyber security.

In 2010 Gary joined Check Point as a security engineer. Quickly moving to be a senior engineering and team leader in Australia. In 2014 Gary moved to Fortinet and managed the engineering team, Professional services and TAC for Fortinet ANZ before moving into and APAC role. In 2017 Gary returned to Check Point in his current role.

Gary has worked in the cyber security industry for 25 years. Gary has experience in all aspects of cyber security. Having worked in the public sector, healthcare, finance and with system integrators Gary has a wide range or experience. Gary has performed PCI and security audits, implemented large complex deployments across multiple technologies. Gary has performed penetration testing, ethical hacking and digital forensics for law enforcement.
