Mr Jeffery Tay is a veteran in the local education industry with experience in designing, implementing and securing large-scale campus-wide solutions. He is currently the Deputy Director (ICT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity) at Nanyang Polytechnic. He provides strategic direction and leads cross-functional teams comprising Server & Cloud Technology, Network & Data Centre Services, User Computing Management & Cybersecurity. He is currently leading the vision on how the organization envisions a safe and secure hybrid workforce and empowering teaching and learning using zero-trust strategies. Prior to this role, he was working in Microsoft Singapore acting as a strategic technology advisor for C-level executives in the education and research space. He strives to provide them with insights, reference architectures and reference business models to help them transform their business to be more productive, have a better cybersecurity posture and to run securely on the cloud.
