Currently Mr. Sean Yang Xiaoning is the GSPO for Huawei since 2022 and also served as the Director of Huawei Global Cyber Security & Privacy Office. Sean oversees the management and operations of GSPO Office which develop Huawei's overall cyber security and privacy protection strategies, and takes charge of policy execution and supervision, as well as the development and implementation of Huawei's end-to-end cyber security and privacy governance system, ensuring legal compliance and improve the security competitiveness of Huawei's products, solutions and services, helping customers to build cyber resilience. Prior Sean joining Huawei in 1998, he had assumed key roles in the organization as Senior Vice President for Huawei America and President for Huawei Canada and in past decades also in various leadership roles for global markets including Latin America, Central Asia and China. Sean had graduated from Peking University with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Information Technology
