Shuman Ghosemajumder is the Global Head of AI at F5 (NASDAQ:FFIV). He was previously CTO of Shape Security, which F5 acquired in 2020, where he led the product and engineering teams, building the AI platform and products protecting the world's largest banks, airlines, and federal agencies. He was previously Global Head of Product for Trust & Safety at Google, where he built products to protect billions of users and defend the world's largest advertising business against fraud. He also helped launch Gmail. He is the co-author of CGI Programming Unleashed (Macmillan Publishing), a contributing author to Crimeware (Symantec Publishing), and has written for Harvard Business Review, Recode, and other publications. Shuman is a regular guest lecturer at Stanford University and is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2011, the Boston Globe named him to their MIT150 list, as one of the top innovators in the history of MIT.
