Mrs Teresa Thomas
Teresa Thomas is The MITRE Corporation's Program Lead for Neurodiverse Talent Enablement, where she is designing and leading the MITRE Federal Neurodiversity Cyber Workforce Program as well as spearheading MITRE's neurodiversity co-op program, both focused on providing opportunities for autistic individuals in cybersecurity and other high-tech roles. This is co-presented with Cynthia Wright - a retired U.S. Military officer with over 25 years of experience in national security, cyber strategy and policy, and transformational change leadership. As a senior military leader, she led ICT infrastructure and cybersecurity assessments for over 120 locations around the globe. In her current role at MITRE she co-developed a methodology to assess the cyber needs and capabilities of developing nations that has been used Ghana, Mexico, and Ukraine, and regionally in West Africa, Eastern Europe, and Central/South America.
