AGI Is Coming, and We Can Now Automate Cybersecurity Defences That We Could Never Do Before

22 Oct 2025
Level 3, Room GW4 | Sands Expo and Convention Centre
Agentic AI and Securing AI
Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) has the potential to fundamentally transform cybersecurity by introducing advanced automation that are now unfortunately "locked" at manual mode. To get to unprecedented automation, a new paradigm of the latest AI is required because cybersecurity is inherently complex, and increasingly, attackers are using AI to hack at lightning speed. These new AI powered defences (pre-AGI) are based on wisdom management, exploiting new reasoning AI models, time sensing awareness, knowledge graphs, automated AI reverse engineering of malware, specialised cybersecurity trained LLMs and ontologies. To bridge the enterprise operational silos, with the disparate teams in the SOC, handling alerts, threat hunting, incident response, playbook development and mitigation; AI has to function with human-like reasoning, adaptability, and ability to learn across domains and past incidents. When this is incorporated into Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) and integrated with AI attack simulation, it will be the game-changer for defending digital assets at tremendous cost reduction. The presentation will show a full pre-AGI architecture that can be air gapped, end to end automation and a case study for implementing agentic SOC with CTEM.
