Over the past decade and more there has been a new "flavour of the month" which grabs the attention. From cloud to 5g and now AI there are always risks and rewards from new technology and they are often seen in isolation. While there are real physical and energy constraints on AI and quantum computing in particular, it seems that nothing can halt their development.
In this presentation I aim to highlight the risks of the hyper-convergence of these four major advances in technology and what we should be doing now to protect ourselves from the emerging risk.
