Operationalising Collective Defense: From Vision to Scalable Action
21 Oct 2025
Level 3, Room GW2 | Sands Expo and Convention Centre
Cybersecurity and Digital Transformation
This session addresses the critical need for a unified, scalable approach to cybersecurity where governments and organizations collaborate in real time to defend against evolving threats. Siloed defense systems no longer suffice in today’s interconnected world as cyber threats target multiple sectors simultaneously. The main barrier to collective defense is a lack of trust between organisations which hinders sharing of threat intelligence. We'll explore creating secure, standardised frameworks for data sharing that respect privacy and proprietary concerns while enabling quick action. Governments play a crucial role in facilitating collaboration through legal, financial and policy support. By building interoperable architectures, fostering public-private partnerships, and leveraging automation and cloud technologies, the vision of collective defense can transition from concept to reality, empowering organisations to act together and protect critical infrastructure on a global scale.
