Cybersecurity in Developing Economies and Underserved Communities
While cybersecurity maturity has improved among larger enterprises, SMEs remain one of the most vulnerable sectors — often due to budget limitations, lack of expertise, and a perception that they are not targets.
This session aims to spotlight the critical role SMEs play in Singapore’s national digital economy and why strengthening their cyber resiliency must be part of the national agenda. Drawing from real-world engagements and scalable approaches, I will share how we’ve democratised enterprise-grade cybersecurity for SMEs, aligned with frameworks like CSA’s Cyber Essentials and IMDA’s SME initiatives.
