Balázs Scheidler is a passionate cybersecurity veteran with over 20 years of experience, dedicating his life to improving the security space. He is the CEO and co-founder of Axoflow, a company building next-generation security data pipelines. Previously, he co-founded Balabit—acquired by Quest/One Identity—pioneering breakthroughs in PAM and log management. Though now an executive, Balázs remains a hands-on engineer, with deep roots in open source development from compilers to cryptographic protocols and kernel networking. He created syslog-ng, still maintained by his team at Axoflow, and regularly speaks at global events like The Official Cybersecurity Summit, Infosecurity Europe, Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW), or the NIAS Cyber Security Symposium just to name some.
