Eric Wong is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Director of Cyber Operations & Technologies at Synapxe, Singapore’s national HealthTech agency. With extensive experience in the field, Eric oversees a wide range of critical responsibilities including digital forensics, incident response, proactive threat defence, red teaming, security architecture, security engineering, security operations, threat hunting, threat intelligence, and vulnerability assessment.

Eric holds several prestigious certifications including the GIAC Security Expert (GSE), ISSMP, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, and other professional cybersecurity credentials. His academic achievements include a Master of Science (Distinction) in Computer Science (Information Assurance) from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and a Master of Science in Defence Technology & Systems from the National University of Singapore, complemented by completion of the CSA-SMU Cybersecurity Strategic Leadership Programme.

Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Eric is deeply engaged in the cybersecurity community. He serves as the President of the ISC2 Singapore Chapter and is recognised as an AiSP Validated Information Security Professional.
