A dynamic leader with over 25 years of experience in senior management, sales, marketing, consulting, and business development, Ian has a proven track record in the technology and tradeshow/convention sectors. He specialises in creating high-value, market-leading, content-driven business platforms that resonate on an international scale. 

Throughout his career, Ian has held management board-level positions in multinational corporations, blending extensive corporate expertise with an entrepreneurial spirit. His strengths include exceptional sales acumen, strategic planning, project management, innovative thinking, and a talent for building and leveraging networks. His expertise has enabled him to play a pivotal role in developing and positioning platforms for tech companies across Asia and the USA, particularly through crafting and elevating tech-oriented events like the renowned GovWare Conference and Exhibition, and the Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW). 

Ian is also deeply embedded in the cybersecurity ecosystem, engaging in high-level discussions with a diverse range of stakeholders—from policymakers to end users—granting him a unique perspective on the complexities of the cybersecurity landscape. As an Exco Member of the Association of Information Security Professionals (AiSP), he offers valuable insights into the challenges and solutions facing various industries, highlighting the importance of cross-sector collaboration. 

Outside of his professional pursuits, Ian is dedicated to advocating for social issues, particularly supporting children on the spectrum and individuals with different abilities. In his personal time, he enjoys travelling and fishing.
