Ir. Dr. Megat Zuhairy has served the Malaysian Government since 1997, with deep expertise in ICT and telecommunications. He is currently Chief Executive of the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA), Registrar of the Board of Engineers Malaysia, a Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate, and Adjunct Professor at Universiti Teknologi MARA. He has held roles such as UN University Expert in Portugal and Director of Engineering (ICT) at the Public Works Department. Over 26 years, he has shaped national IR4.0 policies, championed digital transformation in engineering, and led ICT/telecom projects worth over RM2 billion. He also oversaw the world’s first Total Hospital Information System (THIS) across 1,000+ hospitals. Dr. Megat holds a DBA from UiTM, an MSc in Communications Technology from Ulm University, Germany, and a BSc in Electrical & Computer Engineering (with a Minor in Economics) from Johns Hopkins University.
