Nicholas Goh
2nd Director, Security & Resilience Division, Ministry of Digital Development and Information,
Co-chairman, AI Taskforce, Cyber Security Agency of Singapore
Nicholas Goh is a cybersecurity leader with expertise in security operations, cyber governance, and AI security. He is the Co-Chair for the Artificial Intelligence Taskforce in CSA. This taskforce plans and coordinates CSA’s efforts in building strategic and technical expertise for AI X Security to keep our nation’s cyberspace safe and secure. Through his work and research in AI, he came to realise that the true risk of AI lies not only in how we wield it, but also in how little we grasp of what it might ultimately become. Having recently published a research paper about LLM misbehaviour detection at the International Conference for Machine Learning (ICML), he is acutely aware that even within the research community, many questions remain open. As such, he believes that navigating AI’s future demands both vigilance and collective wisdom.
