Ofir leads the product, research, and development teams for Check Point’s threat prevention solutions, including Network Cyber Security, Endpoint and Mobile Security, XDR, and ThreatCloud. Prior to joining Check Point, Ofir served as Director of Engineering at Hyperwise Security and spent 11 years as an officer in a cyber intelligence unit within the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). His deep expertise in cyber threat intelligence, security research, and advanced threat prevention technologies has been instrumental in shaping Check Point’s proactive, AI-powered security strategy.

Ofir holds a M.Sc. and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) and Tel Aviv University. He is a recognized leader in cyber threat prevention, AI-driven security, and extended detection and response (XDR).
